The First Week of Wedding Season 2026: Seven Days, So Much Magic
Wedding season officially kicked off, and if this first week is any indication of what 2026 has in store… we are in for something truly special. ✨
The last seven days were packed in the very best way—full of beautiful hair, incredible vendors, familiar faces, and moments that reminded me exactly why I love this work so much. From wedding shows to styled shoots to my first wedding of the year, it felt like the season came alive all at once.
Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at how it all began.
Sunday: Forever In Love Wedding Show — Saints Center Stuart, Iowa
We started strong with the Forever In Love Wedding Show at The Saints Center in Stuart.
I had the honor of styling hair for the models walking the show, and I also hosted a booth where I got to connect with so many brides. One of my favorite parts? Meeting brides who already knew me—whether from social media, referrals, or past weddings. There is something incredibly special about hearing, “I’ve been following your work for a while.”
It was such a fun, high-energy way to step into the season and connect with couples at the very beginning of their planning journey. 🤍
Monday: Styled Shoot at While Haus Social
The momentum continued the very next day with a styled shoot at While Haus Social, organized by the talented Tris Waldorf.
There were two models, and I had the chance to create two of my favorite 2026 looks—the kinds of styles that feel modern, romantic, and effortlessly elevated. The kind of hair that photographs beautifully from every angle and still feels timeless years later.
I cannot wait to share the final images soon.
They are going to be so good.
Photos coming soon to the gallery.
Wednesday: Styled Shoot at The Adix — Boone, Iowa
Midweek brought another creative day—this time at The Adix in Boone for a styled shoot organized by Elizabeth Bliss Events.
There was one couple, a stunning setting… and horses. Yes, actual horses. 🐎
It was a styled shoot that felt cinematic from the moment we arrived. Romantic, unique, and full of personality. This beautifully remodeled old farm house was so full. oflove and a beautiful story of how they came to be. Their slogan is “Their legacy, Her dream” Honoring those who came before them on this family owned century farm. These are the kinds of collaborations that push creativity and bring fresh inspiration into the season.
Again—more beautiful images to come in the gallery.
Friday: My First Wedding of 2026 — The Astro Omaha, Nebraska
Then came the moment I had been waiting for: my first wedding of the year.
I traveled to Omaha for a celebration held at The Astro in La Vista.
Yes! You can get married here! And it was truly a banger of a wedding to kick off the season. The energy, the people, the excitement—it was everything you hope for in that first event of the year. The Venue host was more than helpful and kind, the getting ready space was perfect and energy? Let’s just say it was high for this couple on their day.
Not only did I style the bride and her wedding party, but I also stayed on-site all day to provide touch-ups whenever she wanted them and to create a second hairstyle for the reception. Being present from morning to evening allows me to support my brides in a way that keeps the day calm, seamless, and joyful—and that’s always the goal.
The photos from this wedding, captured by Nathaniel Jensen Photography, are going to be incredible. I already know this one will be a favorite. ✨

Wrapping Up the Week
To close out this whirlwind of a week, I ended with something extra special—a hair preview for a good friend who is getting married in May, followed by her wedding shower.
It felt like the perfect reminder of what this season is really about: celebrating love, supporting women during one of the biggest days of their lives, and creating moments they’ll remember forever.
And Just Like That… Wedding Season Is Here
Seven days.
Four major events.
1,392 miles traveled.
So many beautiful moments already.
This first week set the tone for what I believe will be an unforgettable 2026 season, and I am so grateful to every bride, vendor, and creative partner who trusts me to be part of their day.
If you’re a 2026 or 2027 bride, know this:
I step into every wedding morning with intention—to keep the energy calm, the timeline smooth, and the bride feeling confident and taken care of from the very first moment of the day.
I truly can’t wait to see what the rest of this season brings. 🤍
XOXO,
Stacia
