Can you explain the waitlist?
Yes! It’s not a wait and hope I become available waitlist. Let me explain…
Booking for the following year officially opens on October 1st. Brides may join the waitlist in advance to secure a place in line for their wedding date. Upon joining you will be informed if you are first, second and so on for your date.
On October 1st at 9:00 AM, the first bride on the waitlist for each date will receive access to book. Additional brides for that same date will be invited to book in the order their requests were received, released hourly throughout the day.
This system ensures booking is fair, organized, and first-come, first-served.
Do you have a minimum?
Yes — My minimum package is The Becoming at $1200 is required to book. If you don’t meet the minimum, don’t worry. You can still book! The Becoming is for the Bride + 1-5 additional styles (bridal party)
How many styles can you accommodate?
The number of styles I can accommodate depends on the amount of time available for you and your party to get ready. I schedule 45 minutes per style and work backward from your desired finish time to determine our start time.
If your party requires more styles than I can complete within the available timeframe, I’m happy to help coordinate a second stylist. Please always confirm availability of a second stylist before booking if you think you may require one.
Can I pay before the wedding day?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to pay in advance.
A 30% retainer is required to hold your date. (based on the package you choose and is NON-refundable) And the final Balance can be paid at any time. Once the final balance is paid it is Non-refundable.
Do you have a team, or is it just you?
It’s just me! I handle all bookings and styling personally to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience. If your party is larger than I can accommodate alone, I’m happy to help coordinate an additional stylist as needed. However, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to provide one.
Will you hold my date while I decide?
I’m not able to hold wedding dates without a signed agreement and deposit. I do my best not to rush anyone, but please know that I may have multiple inquiries or proposals out for the same date. Bookings are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis by paying the retainer and signing a contract.
Do you offer makeup?
I don’t offer makeup, but I’m happy to recommend a few amazing artists I work with regularly! You can check them out here.
Do you travel to the venue?
Yes! I will travel anywhere for your bridal hair services on your wedding day. 150 Miles of round trip travel is included in all of my packages. Travel beyond 150 miles round trip or a start time before 7:30 am will require a lodging fee and additional travel at a rate of $1 per mile.
Where are you located?
In Salon Violet in Brooklyn, IA
How long will it take for my party size?
I typically schedule about 45 minutes per hairstyle. To determine the total time needed, I work backward from your desired finish time to set our start time. For larger parties, I’m happy to discuss options like adding a second stylist to ensure everyone is ready on time.
Please note, if the bride wants Hollywood waves, she will need to request a custom quote. This is because the style requires extra time (approximately 1.5 hours total) and nearly all brides requesting Hollywood waves also need clip-in extensions.
Why do Hollywood waves take so much longer?
Hollywood waves are a detailed, polished style that requires careful sectioning, curling, and setting to achieve that smooth, glamorous look. The process typically takes about 1.5 hours because it involves precision and often the addition of clip-in extensions to create the full, voluminous effect many brides want.
